Online Tax Payment Socialization Held in East Jakarta

East Jakarta Tax and Levy Sub-department socializes 400 people about online tax regulation in East Jakarta Mayor Office, Monday (7/29).

"Through this socialization, I want to reminds taxpayers to follow the regulation and pay the tax on time," asserted Uus Kuswanto, East Jakarta Vice Mayor who opens this socialization.

East Jakarta Tax and Levy Sub-department Head, Johari mentioned, 300 participants are the representatives of hoteliers, restaurants, and entertainment businesses, while other 100 participants are representatives of UKPDs in East Jakarta.

"We want to educate them about regional taxation regulation and how to pay tax online. They are also encouraged to pay tax on time," he said.

Jakarta BPRD Head, Faisal Syafruddin conveyed, online tax payment system helps his side to monitor all transaction anytime. Not only tax officers, but this system also allows people to check if there is taxpayer who don't pay the tax or not.

"We want to be transparent and encourage Jakartans to take a part in monito ring tax," he stated.
